    Hi guys,

I added the library 'Dirty Modular' on Kontakt but when trying to load some instrument, I received the message "This patch is encrypted and cannot be loaded unless the respective library is registered properly"

    My current setup:
I installed Kontakt 5.2 then upgraded to Kontakt 5.4.1 on Win 8.1 x64. Both Kontakt versions are non legit.

    What i already tried:
    - Before adding the library, I used the KL Tools and the library installed fine, or at least it looks like that.
    - I also tried the KLM but it's not supported in Win 8.1 and gave an Exception.

I need your help guys: What did I miss? What do you advise?
I simply don't want to give it up on such a library...

    Thanks in advance,
    Mr P

64bit win7, is it just this library not working for you?

when selecting the dirty modular folder what do you have inside that folder?

This is the first library that I can't use in my Kontakt setup.
What do you mean by 'selecting'? From the Windows Explorer or from the Kontakt Explorer (if that makes any difference)?

Anyway, from Win Explorer, we can see the following dir:
    - Documentation
    - Instruments
    - Presets
    - Samples

    And the following files:
    - Dirty Modular.nicnt
    - Wallpaper.png

just checking you are selecting the correct folder within Kontakt, its the nicnt file that adds the libary

its possible that within your ni service center you have another library that is using the same UPID number (NI library ref no) which is preventing it from registering correctly

How can I check if this is indeed the case?

    Thanks in advance,
    Thanks mattmckay too!

    Guess what? Problem solved!

I redownloaded the library and now it works, guess some files were corrupted or something.

Thanks a bunch Silly Sausage for your help!
