Most (crap) sample packs nowadays are 90% reused sounds, 5% effort, and 95% how well you can market it.

Basically 190% Dogshit

..and the effort is 1% coming up with a "catchy" name and 4% prompting AI to create "art".

 

Completely agreed.. However someone seems to be buying this junk or why would this stuff keep multiplying exponentially every other day?

Nobody really knows their sales numbers though. If you think about it, if you've got a decent enough day job and don't blow all your money on hookers and blow, its fairly easy to keep a website up and running hawking the sample crap you can throw together by mashing other sample packs together and 'processing them' over and over. They might not be making anything, but they can keep putting out junk until the cows come home and it doesn't really hit the pocketbook THAT much. I think my web host is about $120 a year, so only $10 a month or so..

At that point you just keep spamming sites like this over and over until you get a handful of suckers to pay up.

 

DOGSHIT could cop samples from "Spinach" Jam alone and could net shafeeqbeats his first Cadillac and set of gold teeth!

The business idea…

If they want, they can open recycling companies for old samples and other junk on hard drives. They offer people the opportunity to recycle their junk files with them, so people have the good feeling of having done something right. They charge 12 cents per GB…!
