I just like making music.. But I am learning music theory, it's fun and easy for me.

I used a lot of single hits from various packs put in the fruity loops sampler, I find that to be intuitive and easy to use, and thanks! To get my kick sounding very good I used a lot of multiband compression with Ozone 5. Which has a histogram which makes it easy for us stupid people do to things lol. The Synths were chopped up and compressed from various sample packs. I used to just use samples but now I've been teaching myself music theory over the last few months so in my last track sexaphone I wrote all my own melodies and stuff which is fun.

im pretty sure this would have sounded fresh about 5 years ago but to me it just sounds EXACTLY the same as every EDM track about right now and you seem to to have no identity or new ideas of your own. to me it sounds like you have just downloaded a generic EDM sample pack and cobbled a few loops together.

 

Yeah I can agree with some of that but the mastering/mixing/ and mixing the vocals in with the melody is what sets me apart from most people. And the fact I am producing this myself.. I mean do you realize you're actually talking to the person who produced this? It's rare to find someone who actually produces their own stuff now-n-days.

Anyone with half a brain who's trying to make it knows they are not competing against other DJS/Producers we're competing against Spinnin Records, Spinnin Deep, Cr2 Records, etc etc.. All those 'famous djs' either A) Don't even know how to open a DAW or B) Have a team of 20 seasoned musicians behind them doing EVERYTHING for them **Cough Cough MARTIN GARRIX.. Like I said I am too real for the music industry and they plan to shut me down at some point when I get good at producing and start taking over the industry.

Hey man,

I can't comment about the song. It's not really my style at all...The mix sounds good, though.

However, there's a famous EDM musician/producer called Steve Aoki, and you're not only using his name (with an added "F"), but you're also using his picture as your Soundcloud avatar.

So, unless you're actually Steve Aoki, I recommend you to change this asap, otherwise this situation might be interpreted as something highly unethical and probably illegal....In other words, people may think you're trying to impersonate the guy.

I don't think that's good for your career, if you're trying to make one.
