    old stuff yes... but it depends if its high quality or not. old can be great quality

    Often its not about samples, but about new scripting or new features in the sampler itself, which can however enrich the depth of a product.
    Now at the end of this, somebody has to do the scripting and all the stuff ...

    Of course nobody would pay for that. So yes its easier to slam on it, that they have used new recorded samples.

    may be some a smart guy can find a way to minify them as with Kontakt libs
    and hack .syvolume format :)
    I'm interested in Studio FX Piano, but 92 GB for the Standart library:facepalm:
