Elite Strings is an entirely new set of recordings in Synchron Stage A, captured by a different microphone setup from previous Synchron string recordings. It does not use any recordings from previously released VSL products.

 

Then sir, you would be more than enough. SCS and ELite are more than enough to do your work. For classic work Synchron PRO is better choice. But for a more modern sound achieved by the Blend Duality is better.

I am confident you probably tried it but did you try the building of the cache files for a legit version from their manual?
I get that if there are a lot of settings, you will have a lot of renaming to do possibly, but from what I gather, a legitimate version can generate files.
I am sure you've seen the below and apologies if you have already tried, but you did not say whether you had or not because it seems it can intercept the license?

You don't need it, that's true. I mean, with only Duality you could cover the majority, but... Would it help? Well, layering could be an option. These libraries cover their weaknesses themselves very well

 

To intercept the license, a dll ($PlayerName Loader. this is dynamic library, placed in ProgramData) is used, which is loaded during the start of the player, this library is only available in the release from R2R (Synchron Player) and it is not available for Synchron Pianos Player, why is it so necessary? Because without it, it is impossible to intercept the license, and therefore create a dump file. and without the dump file, it makes no sense to run VSLEMU CacheBuilder, because. There are no *.R2RVSLSYNP files. Specifically, this manual that you are showing is for a completely different player. It is worth understanding that the original player will not work with the dump modes set in the registry editor. And there will be no custom paths to the license either, there will be a linked to iLok app, otherwise there is no way.
