By listening to it I'm feeling that I'm literally absolute zero in music.:dunno:

I found nothing strange about it, in fact it seems pretty typical of music in movies. What do you find strange about it? :dunno:

It's not typical. The instruments are orchestral but its space is different. In 2:00, you hear a fluty sound that I don't think it's a 12-TET tuned instrument. Maybe I'm wrong.:dunno:

  6. It could be a tenor or contrabasso flute with maybe a cello behind it.

Thanks a lot but I think it's not a western instrument. Western instruments are not so heartrending.:dunno:

So similar but not the exact one. Its sound is more plaintive than Duduk (below video).:dunno:

This is a Persian soundtrack related to one of the Iraninan songs. The space is in an Iraninan traditional scale (we call it Dastgah دستگاه).

The instrument at 1:00 is Iraninan Violin or maybe the Kamaneche کمانچه
The instrument at 2:00 is called Ney. نی

The track composer is Hossein Alizade.

check this playlist by Hossein Alizadeh :

    Or some similar movie soundtracks:

Yes! Thanks. Always good to learn and discovery

Glad to know we have Kontakt based samples for it. (Just googled it straightaway just now)

That’s not strange. Listen to the first few minutes of this or all of it if you want to see how weird a conventional five piece band can sound. Also note that this double vinyl album was number 1 in 1973 in many countries. Imagine that kind of music being a chart hit today.

This sound library is good, but actually, the traditional Persian music differs from the western music, and you need to know about a new world of notes, harmony, and scales. Micro-tuning is included in Persian music that can not be modeled by samplers! Myself as an Iranian, cannot play Persian music because I am not familiar with the details of the notes, scales, etc.
