    Bobby Gentry was an awesome singer/songwriter who wrote this huge crossover hit, Ode To Billie Joe. Then her label wanted her to write clones of the song but she said fuck off and proceeded to pen an awesome double album which was brilliant art but which the label let turn to dust and refused to promote.
