Op has said/admitted as much IIRC.
It's not like he's the only one on this forum who uses AI to write their posts. You know who you are.

Wouldn't put too much faith in these AI diagnostic tools though.

That being said, it is funny how, in just 3–4 years, we've degenerated to a point where many people believe they need AI for basic communication, because blah blah AI arms race yadda yadda everyone does it anyway brap brap.

'Totally my own thoughts and music, AI is just faster at expressing them - I could totally do it myself though, really could.' (lol, no, you couldn't)

People should check (or have their fav AI tell them) the current scientific consensus wrt using AI as a time saver and the skill decline/retardation from not actively practicising said skill yourself

There have always been people who were easily swayed and did exactly what those in power wanted them to do: namely, show blind obedience! But we all have a responsibility toward our fellow human beings and, at the very least, shouldn't look the other way. We won't be able to save everyone, and there will be casualties. If an AI robot wrings your neck because of a programming error, you’ll certainly change your tune.

The AI can emulate accurately from the first cooper cable and carbon resistor to the last stage of the amp circuitry in a Channel Strip plugin? its heating of electrical components, voltage variations, potentiometer wear, and overloading of transistors and capacitors? Thanks

I'm not made at the ai plugin grift, because those vibe-coders/noobs are just trying the tools of their era. It reminds me when cheetcodes were revealed from Doom and Super Mario - I used it because it was fun, though it did spoil the interest long-term - and that is a lesson learned for my era.

Also, we could have stopped trying/buying plugins 10 years ago and still be fully occupied learning the craft of the old plugins today. So just because we have both "fast food" and "gourmet" plugins doesn't mean we need to pay them any attention if our current tools are sufficient (I mean sufficient by technical term, not our discipline to master the tool).

So yea, let them grift. I'd be more concerned about doctors, scientists, and economists grifting out future to shit...oh thats happening right now while we fuss about vibe coders.

    The Democratization of Slop..

Your Slop, my Slop.. now with AI anyone can make VST plugs,
so the abused Sloppy plugin market is not anymore exclusive to those trained and "in the know"..

For the final user is a bit irrelevant..
Good Slop is Good Slop; Bad Slop is Bad Slop

But how good is your Slop?
    Not Slopping yet?
If you don't Slop somebody else will,
and put the idea on the market first..!

    Now
I sometimes wondered why I backed off from plugin hype back around 2014 ish with targeted ads on music sites ,
Nowdays people think an kosher version of a *advanced search engine *aka ai that is ((((available for everyone ))))) is going to takedown our musical paths and journey in the realm of sound and music
Our art and craft and our value ...
    I know now .. and
I assure that is not going to happen because I made a term just couple weeks ago about phenemenons of such
    I call them : "failed technology" !
And these stories roots back to the days people of self interest tried to infiltrate every occupation so they could buy the whole planet.
Im planning to buy my Roland JV-1000 anyway I don't care if there's a identical plugin out there that I have to overproccess and put my nerves on wasting my time beta testing other's failed technologies and feel puzzled? Nope.
This current ai thing is a great example of a failed technology
Sooner or later there will be the 'next thing ' after the ai for those who are programmed to follow the next distraction.

Technically yes. in stages, and with the necessary documentation such as the schematic. I would approach it piece by piece. Instead of saying "make a channel strip with (all the features you mentioned)" , you would first start with the basic framework, and then tackle each thing one at a time, while taking steps to ensure you can fall back on previous versions and can add all of the features after the fact. Definitely doable though.
