One years ago TheDingus had posted a news about Unfiltered Audio Sandman, today Unfiltered Audio joins Plugin Alliance and.... tada... the price of Sandman grows to $49 (was $19.99).

My question: what was wrong with the old price?

to $49 all of a sudden is a big jump. It's more than doubled

 

well the price is still $19.99*
*-only now you have to pay for that "extra flavour" of Plugin Alliance franchise

 

That why shitty music is pop...
Not much work to make music but good marketing

 

My question would be, how many people actually paid for it at $19.99?

I would hazard a guess that the dev wasn't getting many sales and decided to try another way.

Can't blame him/her if no one was paying for it in the first place.

So, did anyone buy it at $19.99 or just use a cracked copy ?

 

Read an interview with Avicii:s producer where he explained how he find Avicii and how he "made" Avicii a superstar just because he was so good at marketing noty that Avicii was a great songwriter he said that anyone with a computer and some skill and time to learn how to work with a DAW can make Avicii songs but they need a good singer and a good marketing producer..

 

More the price of pricing than the price of marketing...

The question should not be what was wrong with the old price but what is wrong with the people who buy it at the new price.
Still unbeknownst to most consumers is the fact that we, the people who buy stuff, have the all power to decide over every company's fate through the buying decisions we make.

 

Did not even heard of it before so yeah marketing was bad...
