Oh how sad I am, we all are that our friend is gone. I think it a good idea, since the majority of us are musicians, to post music that is written specifically in Oly's memory...without comment...just music, songs for our lost brother in arms...Olymoon.

I've got something in the works and will post it when I'm done, but go ahead and go for it. I'm sure he'd be humbled but honored for keeping his memory alive in song.

 

And The AS/AZ team can collect all of these posted pieces - no matter what genre how long how mixed and mastered - in order to create a complication album in the memory of Olymoon.

As much as I would have liked to do it but sadly I am yet to reach that stage.

A year back when I joined this forum as a newcomer he was one of the first person I interact with...
I can never forget his encouragement and guidance...
Like to a lost child he patiently guided me from choosing a DAW, learning materials, as to how I may proceed...
Even today it feels like he was talking to me...

I respected him a lot for that besides for his work under immense pressure as a MODERATOR.

Pray Almighty that he let me one day to honour the man who helped me on the journey to music production.

 

Although it wasn't written specifically in Oly's memory so mods feel free to delete this post if inappropriate, it's not even in English (translation below), I just thought it fits the sad mood. The song is ours, it's totally unknown, so... RIP Oly.

I wrote this one about 1 year ago, I know Olly loved psytrance, maybe is not the style of psytrance you guys like in here but it fits the vibe, this one goes to you amigo, Vaya Con Dios

Sharing three tracks in honor of Olymoon. This man had the patience to create the download links for the Band in a Box complete collection I posted several years ago, somewhere around 150 plus links after I had uploaded them. I wanted everyone to be able to try this program in it's complete form, since the only thing you could find at the time were bits and pieces of it. I spent the time to piece together the complete program, all the realtracks and other nonsense that PG Music created, (their organizational skills are terrible).

These three tracks are orchestral in nature, I wrote them back when I was depressed, trying to find meaning in life. I only hope they bring peace and comfort to anyone who listens.

 

i'm not good at making this kind of music but i wanted to do something for our brother.
im sure he has learnt a lot in this life, his next one's gonna be even better

 

I composed this song when my dad passed away .. Olymoon once had an argument with me few times, but I understand that he's just doing his job here
