The classic '60s fuss is back to satisfy your needs ...

Gibson owned brand Maestro is back for 2022 with the return of the 1960s classic Fuzz-Tone pedal! The company’s newly created maestroelectonics Instagram account just recently made this announcement. The pedal was made famous by Kieth Richards in the Rolling Stones’ hit Satisfaction.

The announcement on Instagram states “The Legend Returns •1/18/22•”, along with a short video clip of the new Maestro Fuzz-Tone pedal. Gibson briefly reissued the stompbox once before, as the FZ-1a back in the 1990s, and it now looks set to make another comeback. Originally launched in 1962, the pedal gained notoriety after guitarist Keith Richards plugged into one on the Rolling Stones 1965 hit single “Satisfaction“.
