Listening to movie soundtracks is one of my favorite hobbies. It is also one of the primal reasons why I decided to become a movie composer. But there is a music score that is so beautiful and yet so underappreciated by the public, I considered it my duty to share with this forum the soundtrack for the indie film called Panfilov's 28 Men (рус. 28 Панфиловцев), written by the Russian composer Mikhail Kostylev (Михаил Костылёв) who previously worked as a video game music composer, and it is really difficult to imagine for me that this was his first film work.

For all fans of melodic orchestral film music (something which has become a rarity in the modern film industry) this is a must listen album.
