REALLY surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet...but anyone that bought any Avid/Degidesign hardware (hell... software too!) has useless unsupported gear that becomes obsolete after a few years...

That sucks. Because it looked like they had it well in hand...

  4. Thinking that girls go for guys in a brass band I bought Tuba Hero for PS4. I think I assembled it incorrectly.

I hadn't actually played harmonica for years and the one that I had left's pear wood comb cracked. A friend though asked me to teach him how to play so I went to a local music store and bought a C harp from the only brand that they carried, Fender. I didn't even know that they made them. To make a long story short, it sounded fairly shitty and literally after two minutes or so it began falling apart. What a waste of $15 bucks. I went to another store, the one that I should have in the first place and bought a Seydel that has lasted these last three years like a champ. You get what you pay for.

Unfortunately , I just don't use it that much any more. Once the warranty ran out it just started falling apart. Now it just stays mostly on a shelf but at least it keeps my kid entertained.

You can not even use the meaningless piece of plastic for bookends on the shelf because it weighs nothing, and I suspect that there is nothing in it more than a flea circus that sings false .. Hence the perception that it is a constant cycle of leaking electricity directly from the "Monday copy-making" Chinese basement factory ..... Boooooh IKG Multimedia Booooooo ..

It doesn't sound bad for $200,the pwm sounds are nasty,it has a multimode filter,drive,delay,arpeggiator...Cool stuff.I just hate the midi I/O on mini jack 3.5.Sure it won't last 30 years btw.

    Edit:And an audio input too,neat!

Probably not. That's a disposable synthesizer I agree, but that's like like most of todays gear. All current synthesizers are made of SMT parts, the UNO is not an exception.

Stay away from this expensive piece of Logitech junk, regardless of the color of the ball (red or blue, just like the "Matrix").

Here's what they don't tell you:
    • The big ball pivots on 3 tiny fixed plastic ball bearings. If you don't remove the ball and clean the ball recess and the tiny bearings at least once a week, your skin oil and sweat will mix with dust, hair and grit that floats in the air and grind the bearings flat.
    • A year or so down the line you'll notice the touted "remarkable accuracy" of this trackball is replaced by an intermittent, jumpy and eventually non-functional mouse cursor.
    • Because of the way this trackball is constructed, the dirt and oils will find their way inside the cosmetic shell, where all the surface-mounted components are located, along with failure-prone microswitches, hair-thin PCB traces, fragile plastic levers.
    • The rotary wheel is a magnet for grime. If and when you do get the housing off, chances are you'll not be able to re-assemble it. A secret screw that lives under the paper battery label can drive you crazy.
    • The battery contact assembly is a convoluted wire mess.
    • The tiny ribbon cable retainer is prone to breakage and some or all of these engineering disasters can spell the end of this pricey "miracle" trackball.
Logitech don't warn you in advance about these points because it's good for (their) repeat business. Nor do they take any responsibility for their sloppy engineering. I was a sucker and bought several of these damn devices. Complaints led nowhere. Goodbye slippery Logitech and Fu*k you!

Fresh news regarding Aira, PlugOut, JDXi, TR8
Basically Roland pulled the expansions licenses inside their outboard gear (already sold): the flashy plastic keyboard/drum machine you have in the studio has now become an empty box, all the sounds you had inside until August are now gone. Why? Because they have to sell the licenses again!
    https://contentstore.roland.com/
They are trying hard to enter into our ranking of "Most useless gear"

Now I will cut all the USB cables that come out from my keyboards and I will no longer buy any type of external gear that has a connection to a computer or any type of digital circuit inside
