    Hi,

I would like to know which mixing process do you follow usually for each music projects you create ( although the process may vary depending of the project )

    For me it's :

    1) Modulation of the volume
    2) Compression
    3) Equalization
    4) Effects ( Reverb / Delay / Distortion )
    5) Stereo/ Panning

( I specify that the order often changes according to the needs of the project )

    And you guy's ?

my got-to template looks like this :
    - fl maximus, pro-l2 and izotope imager on the master channel
    - 808 always mono
    - ADSR Envelope on EVERY instrument
-Equalizing before Compressing, because i dont want the Comp to react to low frequencies
    - Lurrsen Mastering Console for the "glue" and loudness before the Limiter

Panning, rough volume, EQ/filtering, compression/transient designer/gating where needed, saturation/distortion, reverb/delays/chorus/etc, parallel compression, volume, automations.
And then the usual jumping back and forth to all of these.

I usually take a nice piss on some of my hardware channels I feel like it gives a nice zest to my mixes. You know its good when you hear the sizzling sound of the chips inside frying.

    I subdivide it into 3 sections, 1. Musicproduction, 2.Mixing, 3.Mastering.

    Musiproduction:
sound design, effect design, compose, arrange, => stems to Audio

Mixing: each track to adjust Volume, Pan, EQ, Dynamics at last Deep ( Reverb, Room )
When mixing, in most cases it will happen that more sounds and compositions are created,
that means arrangement in the mixing area ( editing Audio Stems, Volume and Pan Automation, mute some useless Tracks
), if finished mix => Mastering

Mastering: Analyzing, Metering, FX Chain: Console Emulation, Top Compression if needed, FilterEQ ( Linear Phase ), Top EQ, Multiband Compression if needed, Saturation ( Tube, Tape Simulation ), Transient Designer if needed, Multiband Stereo Imager, Post EQ and last Loudness Maximizer, Limiter, DC Offset removal, dithering.
