    Hi There!

I've recently get a physic copy of The Metal Foundry from a friend, but I'm getting this error "Could not copy eula.html file" when installing!
ToonTrack support staff said that it could be the directory that is too long, so i've tried to put the baby directly in to C:\
No eula error but the setup stucks... :dunno:

    I'm on W7 Home Premium x64.
    Any hint, help or solution??

    Thanks!

    Hi studiodiciassette,

Find some place to download "UltraISO Premium Edition v9"
Create an image from the original media with it
Install it with a virtual Disc, created by UltraISO
    You done.

ISO images is the best way to avoid long directories issues.

    Hope can solve your problem.

Dont need to install. Simply goto the archive that houses the files and extract them to your drum library location. An install has never been "needed" for any sdx/ezx kits.

The only thing the toontrack install does is unzip the files

np, I buy all toontrack stuff, because as a producer never know what drums I need, and while I have all the physical discs and everything I'd rather shoot myself than have to reinstall every 14-20g kit everytime I wipe my computer so in the end I always have a huge copy of all my toontrack stuff on an external. That way if needed I can just tell SDX where the folder is and boom, instant reload.

But yeah, I've had problems with the toontrack installers before, then I learned it was basically just an winzip type file so the install was pointless.

Also a tip since I don't know your experience with SDX/EZX but especially for metal foundry kit, ROUTE OUT EVERYTHING. If you try to let SDX route everything through a single effects channel it's almost impossible to get good sounds from that library to mix. But I will say out of all of the SDX kit's Metal Foundry has some of the best cymbals of all the kits.
