    Everything is in all my comps. It is a bit ram hungry but there is nothing you will search and won't be found before you finish writing hehe. I never mentioned it since i thought it's common knowledge, but wth, props to @Pinkman for spreading the word :)

    Maybe the idea is to stop looking for one-size-fits-all installation, and give a linux a proper try. :mates::thumbsup:
    Win7/10 is good for audio and games, but the rest can be easily migrated to linux distros.
    Dualbooting is no fun, but Ivy-based 12" laptops are about $30 recently. I'd install linux on such laptop, use it in docking station and switch keyboard/mouse/screen to it when needed (there are dedicated switches for that). Add NAS and your setup is complete.
    All things downloaded through linux machine would be made available to the Win based distro without exposing any of its exploits, because the win machine will be accessing only local LAN, with no internet connection.
