the file format is not supported or corrupt on wav files in Kontakt 8

    My audio wav files won't work in Kontakt 8 anymore, they say there corrupted even though they aren't. They work perfectly fine in Kontakt 7

    Is there anything that I can do?

    sigh... I just imagine it's NI doing what they do best in fucking up a new product launch without proper testing and now chasing the bottom line with the Francisco fuckbro's breathing down their neck.

    I'm taking the wait and see approach on this, as k7 is bad enough with their missteps, but I have it working now (albeit not as well as I had Kontakt 3/4/5 working etc)...

    It's hard to imagine that .wav files would be the problem considering it is the cross platform file format of choice regarding this kinda thing.

    Your screenshot shows the instrument nki file is the one that gives errors. Doesn't it?
    I've never had this kind of error (corrupted or damaged nki). Haven't tried Kontakt 8 though
