Hey everyone, I'm having a big issue with my Audient EVO 8. I'm so tired of it.
It produces an insane, glitchy noise on every preamp, regardless of what's plugged in, and even when nothing is plugged into it. I thought it was EMI from being close to so many electronics, but I now tested it far from everything, and the noise still happens. I can't open it up because of the plastic construction; there are no bolts or anything.
I tried different ports on my computer, having it plugged in and not plugged in, turning off the Wi-Fi, disconnecting my speakers, and checked that my electricity is grounded, as well as every other thing I could imagine. It happens whether or not 48V is turned on as well, so it just became unusable for me. I don't know if the interface is like this or if it's broken, which means I can't even sell it.
I attached an audio file with the noise.
This is recorded in my living room without any electronics nearby except for my computer (Macbook Pro m1 pro). I tried with a Behringer UMC22 and didn't have this issue, so it's not the computer either.

Disable the inputs! one by one until it´s gone. then you know which one makes the noise :)
Mute the Inputs inside the Mixer ( M Button )

it could also coming from your USB or how its connected to the computer.

been there. its fine on the notebook, but on desktop, i have serious noise in the signal chain.

Also switching of the USB port can help.

I tried that too. It didn't get me results either. Every now and then it works better for a few minutes but nothing more than that
