Have you some suggestions of good libraries to start ? I'm looking for "real" instruments (Like strings, piano...) but others suggestions are welcome ! :)

    Thank you in advance !

PS : Sorry for my bad english i'm a 14 years old french who wants to learn how to produce music. Correct me if I made mistakes *yes*

    @ The Young Noisemaker,

Firstly, Welcome Aboard ! :mates:

With a 'nickname' as yours, your future will bright through this Forum !!!

*yes*

Almost all the 'Kontakt 5' Versions that you'll find here and there (including the newest Updates) are almost always provided without the original Kontakt 'Factory Library'... *yes* , thus to install it could be a good starting point for you to enjoy your 'Kontakt' Engine. *yes*
Of course, this 'Factory Library' is somewhat 'global' (thus includes several kind of Instruments for various 'Music Styles'), and is not so specific as can be other 'Kontakt' Libraries done by diverse Developers, which are often more focused on a particular type of Instruments or Music Style(s).

As you're looking for some 'Strings, Pianos,... ' Libraries, you can start with several of the 'Bigcat Instruments' Libraries  that you can find through this Forum.
'Bigcat Instruments' very frequently post his new Creations, and best of all, these are of really Great Quality without necessarily rely on several GB of Samples... *yes*
Simply use the 'Search' Engine (in the upper right corner) and look for 'This Forum : 'Bigcat Instruments'. You'll find several Pianos (from the 'Bigcat Instruments Piano Collection'), each one with its proper specific sound... *yes*

    ____________________________________________________________________________________________

Pour te faciliter quelque peu la tâche, tu trouveras ci-dessous certaines de ces fameuses 'Bigcat Instruments' Librairies et/ou Instruments (pour KONTAKT) :

The Free Piano Collection for Kontakt 5

bigcat Full Piano 2 with Knobs On

Free for Kontakt 5: bigcat Strings

bigcat Instruments 40 Free Kontakt 5 Instruments

    Karoryfer X Bigcat Cello Kontakt

    bigcat Free Sonatina VSTis

Free 40 Stop Organ for Kontakt 5

Bonne moisson !!! *yes*

Welcome to the forums Young Noisemaker. [IMG]

For the genres that you're looking to make you would be better suited looking into VST instruments than Kontakt libraries especially in the beginning and since everyone else already gave Kontakt suggestions I will go that route. I can highly recommend these, pick a few of them and get started. You can always get the rest later and the most important thing is to get started making music and not collect software. Don't fall into that trap. Enjoy:

    DAW
    • Ableton Live 9
    • BitWig
    • FL Studio 11 (12 is coming out soon)
    • Native Instruments Maschine
    • Presonus Studio One
    Drums
    1. FXPansion Geist
    2. Native Instruments Battery 4
    3. Sonic Academy Kick
    4. Spectrasonics StylusRMX
    5. Xfer Records Nerve
    VST Synthesizers
    1. Camel Audio Alchemy
    2. FXPansion DCAM Synth Squad
    3. LennarDigital Sylenth1
    4. Native Instruments Absynth
    5. Native Instruments FM8
    6. Native Instruments Massive
    7. Refx Nexus 2 (Good Dance Pianos in Piano Expansion)
    8. Reveal Sound Spire
    9. Spectrasonics Omnisphere
    10. Spectrasonics Trilian
    11. Xfer Records Serum

    @ Catalyst

    Oh thanks !
But you know i already have Ableton Live 9. I know collecting softwares is not a good thing. I only downloaded some Vengeance packs, Massive and Xfer Serum. This is the only things i downloaded after 2-3 months trying to learn ableton live. But know that i know the (very) basics of Live and Massive i wanted to try to put a nice piano or violin in my next test track. Just to see.

But thank you for all the stuff you offers.

Seems that there are very good things in it. I am very interrese by synths you propose. I expected to see massive and serum in the top of the list, but apparently not.

I am extremely excited to try this!

They're not numbered in any particular order so it's not by rating or anything.
