I was impressed by Redd Inc.

 

I know a miniseries isn't exactly a movie and its meant to be more of a cross-platform media documentary to expand the inspiration behind and in the same time to promote their album of the same name (as every episode ends with a song from that album too) but in a classic Dave Grohl fashion it comes off as love letter to certain music genres, artists, movements and time periods. Seems like it began as one-off movie-length doc but they couldn't fit everything into hour and a half and if you are in the mood you can sink an hour of your time, every night for a week and won't regret it.

 

One of my favorite of the series. Stunning imagery and great storytelling. A masterful production!

this is a good one

 

Right when I approached it I thought it was just an "ordinary" western, actually it was everything but that, it was gruesome, dark, and a tense story.
Of course, outstanding Kurt.

 

Samething that happend too me when i watched it... i thought it was going to be that ordinary western movie the thing is this story is based on a true story that happend around the Nevada area these Indians was very huge and strong the village people called them the Red Hair Giants its great history and artifacts of them if u interested u can see a lot of history about them on youtube

Loved the soundtrack, and had finally watched the movie.

My fav are Main theme and Running away with Jerzy. Beware u cant make sense of it, really. Its odd and a bit bizarre, cannot expect "Omen" or "Exorcist" but nice watch and has an amazing soundtrack.

A quality, low-budget satire/allegory about 'freedom' & 'democracy':

 

Got 4 dvd's from the library:
Cocaine Bear
John Wick 4
Evil Dead Rise
Renfield.
Cocaine Bear stunk, not even bad enough to be good.
John Wick 4 was a long video game where assassins would point their guns at him without firing long enough to give him a chance to kill them.
He got hit by cars about 50 times and just got up and kept going.
You get hit by a car, you're gonna lie there.
Haven't watched EDR or Renfield yet.
Put them on a flashdrive for when I want to waste 2 hours of my life.

One of the better films you'll ever watch. Food for thought wrapped in a funny interesting and challenging story.
I watch it at least once a year. It's a good one to watch at the end of the year when you are counting your blessings.
Plus it has Veronica Lake in it....

so good, the original Japanese Audio only (english subs)
was given an English Dubbed version years later.

I think the Japanese audio actors are better, but i've seen that version more times so maybe its just bias on my part.
The english audio is certainly easier to follow if you don't like reading subtitles.

Rosamund Pike and Peter Dinklage make amazing adversaries. Brilliant dark comedy. Stay with the trailer to the end.

 

I never understood all the hate this movie got - I thought it was fantastic. I have a feeling it will be one of those misunderstood movies that will eventually find its audience and become a cult classic someday.
