its obvious, but the awards are coming in, what did people think of One Battle After Another?

Me? Another excellent PT Anderson film. Dragged at little sometimes but most of the time it was pretty special, with a very authentic naturalistic feel. He's clearly a master of the medium. The Benicio Del Toro sequence might be my favourite prolonged tension exercise since Sicario's border crossing sequence.

Its how i feel about all his 2000's output, always brilliant but a bit meandering.

 

I enjoyed it, although not as much as the hype told me I would. A bit overlong but the good stuff is really good. Sean Penn made it for me.

 

yeah his whole plotline is the highlight character wise. Very memorable creep.
