The open hat is a CR-78 ...and the closed hat could be a pitched down TR-606 maybe. Just pick any closed hat, boost the mid freq and keep it short. Should be pretty easy to copy.
Retroboy is right they are some Roland Drum samples and the closed hat has been pitched down. All those sample packs for Trap/RnB/Ovo whatever are the same few samples, sometimes layered for claps/snares. Often they still have the meta data from the previous sound font they got ripped from or whatever. Sometimes they've been converted to mp3 and back again. The different sounds are just pitching/eq'ing layering and the amount of compression/reverb. Get yourself some good quality Roland Drum samples/ learn to pitch/layer/eq your drums and cut out the middle man.
Just pitch down any hihat (highpass it), adjust amp ADSR, and comb filter it if needed. That's probably what J Dilla would have done. Last edited: Oct 11, 2015
