Hi!

I'm trying to make a bass house track. (Like Jauz - Feel The Volume or Rock The Party)
I kinda figured out how these basses are made but when I try to make one there is never enough mid/highs, it's kinda boring. It sounds like low-passed.

So here is an example of what I would like to achieve: LINK
As you can hear there is a lot of high mids in there. How to I do this? I tried to distort the highs and mids but it never really works.
