Wanted to try the new bitwig 6 update from the “museum”, but it says to make an account to use, can I use a Bitwig account I will plan on using to potentially buy the full version with in the future? It has an 8 track from June since it came with a separate purchase I made from plugin boutique a few years ago and was wondering if I could just use that account to log in without it harming the account in any way?

and what’s different in the installation for Mac? Should I back up a “.activation-11”? If so, where would that be on Mac?

Just wanted to know since I’ve got a craving for the 5.3 drums and had the beta 2 on hand, I’m not updating on windows yet because it’s potentially too unstable and I haven’t saved anything worth backing up with the Mac version I have already.
