I'm sooo confused. People are dancing on all the techno videos like that's why they came, to dance. If Techno is not EDM, then what is it and what am I missing? I haven't had my first coffee yet so it might be that.

Techno deserves its own family tree.its rich history eminating from detroit to berlin to rotterdam and London.It almost mirrors House Music from Chicago to Frankfurt to paris.Point is,These genres took 20 odd years to return home to the States and were all wrapped up in an all in one EDM package,a term not used in Europe.

 

enough ppl are the same opinion like me that EDM is a huge genre pool emerged around early 2010 ,one of the few i like in there is EDM TRAP which seem allready dead but thats not the point .
...when you want throw all the gabber,,hardcore,happy hardcore,big beat ,techno,dnb and real house genre and what not into the pile of mostly shit genres just because you cant
differentiate because EDM also somehow stands for electronic dance music i really cant help you....

 

and tf why you guys not able to let more specialiced genre threads drive vice versa to what are you listening to now thread which got sort of specialiced by user dynamics .....
instead you seem to have foster damaged and then ppl are amazed why im so triggered by the destruction of hydro and his 127 accounts....

 

Sure, give me enough drugs and I'll dance to this and it's electronic so... yeah let's leave that. Besides, when it comes to electronic dance music we've already had EBM and IDM so I'll stick with those, no need to add to the confusion.
