Remixing is a creative process as well as creating a song on your own. Most people I know who are some type of hardcore fan of an artist or a band do not like songs of them being touched in any way. My opinion is that there is enough room for interpreting your own version of an existing song whether it is a remix or simply a coverversion - even if it is a so called "classic".

In case you did not know ... everything is a remix ...

turns out tears for fears is shitty anyway. went to a recent concert and all i saw was playback and poor live performance, even the visuals was some winamp avs presets... anyway, te point here was dude showing somethign he created no matter how. and while some cant show some apreciation, just shut up instead.

 

Too much mica and shine, too little substance. I am now 55 years old and did not like in the early 80's "Tears for Fears" first.
Then there was an increasing number of key experiences and I've won them dearly. An own charm.
I hear quite a lot of bands do not get through the live. The list has steadily widened over the years, without displacing the live bands.
Everything has it's time.
Remix is incidentally also been completely unacceptable for many years. Only the original counts. Bring In the absence of good offspring of the same / same vibration, my remixes have also become increasingly important just to the old Good to keep alive and feeling to relive, even if there is no longer the bands.

What I'm saying is: There are moments where you own key wins something loving, regardless of how it really is, otherwise there would probably only one music
