WTF?? Who they think they are? If they put open links on their pages they should be aware of people all over the world downloading the files!!! Putting a message like this makes them appear very stupid.....

BTW: The structure of their site is very bad done, makes them appear unprofessional.

Regardless, it's quite possible some folks take offense to people stealing from them.. regardless of how badly their site and downloads may be designed.

What happened to try before you buy? Respecting the devs? No honor among thieves Is true I guess.

Ragging on these guys for getting pissed off about people stealing their hard work.. isn't exactly professional either.

Their software isn't the best... imo.. but u can bet, took them many a hard days and nights work to develop, they have every right to be pissed off.

Mocking them just appears childish to me... but that's just me.

Stealing? *no* NO, NO..they put open links onto their site so they are also responsible for it!
Even bigger + older developers have to face those risks, but they are wise and clever enough to not put such stupid remarks on their public pages, maybe somewhere hidden in a forum. No offense but some developers are not serious nor reliable; see also @Plugandmix.com - since weeks they talk about the release of additional new Plug-Ins but nothing has been done yet. "Pretty lame for a so-called "serious" developer!" as someone has stated right in their forum!

What do you mean by this open links thing?

They're saying that lots of users are visiting the site from anonym.to, i.e. they clicked the link on a warez site.

 

It's a riddle what they mean with "illegally"!!!
Obviously they're referring to their MixControl Pro DEMO links which are open links.
Maybe in their view of things people hiding their location are "illegal" only
because they cannot track them right! That's quite my impression. *yes*

 

Not only the big and well known developers are good ones... Sometimes unknown people make good stuff, too...
