I don't know... it seems like all the plugins add a sort of fast attack compression to the sound, even the modulation ones.
I need to play with them a little more, maybe...

 

so what are your final thoughts on this, gentlemen? how does it compare against, say, d16 FX plugs?

 

I have some of these analog + powercore. In general I go for TCE analog pedals for any guitar job acoustic/electric!

vst pedals what do you expect? I got 2 of the pedals as hardware in my collection. They are nice. The dual parametric EQ is still on my pedalboard.
(most) Pedals were made as a small portable budget version of an Studio Effect with live playing in mind. If you use vsts why would you use a dual parametric EQ guitar pedal as your eq? you can use a really nice vst eq!

VSt pedals are not my cup of tea. If i am in the box i use standart studio vsts my favourites are " the soundtoys bundle". The best effects suit you can get for (not only ) guitar in my opinion.
TC makes quality products. Why would theese vsts suck?

I tried to stomp a few times my Powercore as it has the Vintage pedal collection on board. but seems I can't bypass them on and off, any help? (I tried both feet) I think they lied to me

 

I was just asking if anyone tried the actual demo of these pedals and maybe compared them to alternatives, as d16 FX plugs came to my mind. Just to save some time. I did not mean they suck or anything. oh well. just nevermind.

 

to give you an answer on that, basically as they are the same as on my power core, they are great plugins, but they miss the point a bit. the only reason why pedals are useful is the fact that you can chain them and touch them and take them with you. the plugins itself are just that. "plugins". My advice you are better off by buying one HW pedal. than this software package
