Which is better?

For what purpose?
Do you need access for external mics?
What quality do you expect from preamps?
resolution?
etc etc
Myself: I´ve had the DR-100 MK1 which I mostly used for field recordings. I never used the build-in mics but external mics - especially shotguns!
I was very pleased with it but I needed more channels so I bought a Zoom F4 that cover my needs much better.
Im sure all the three units you refer to are nice and well working units but Im pretty sure the DR-100 MK3 is the best developed regarding build quality, preamps etc.

Same purpose as my other topic.
"I would mainly use to record in the open area and for vocals. Background recording forest or city.
Vocal recording in job, home or studio.
Only built-in microphones. Ocasionally record from Pioneer DJM-400 via Jack."

As I said: I´ve never used the build-in mics on the Dr-100 unit - only had a few tests for fun, that´s all.

Build-in or external mics: good preamps are essential for a well sounding result, so I would focus on that issue (among others) before I made my choice.
