I feel blessed to have played games like SSX3 and GranTurismo 4 on PS2.

Their music probably captivated me as much as the gameplay and this combination is powerful. For example, most people like SSX Tricky but i absolutely cant stand and believe SSX3 is 1000x times better in terms of gameplay AND soundtrack.

I honestly didnt know about Placebo until i heard em on SSX3.
Yeah these guys had you listening to fkin Bitter End while running down da mountain chased by an avalanche.

EA Sports in da house, what an EPIC game SSX3 was.

Also my love for GranTurismo 4, what AN EPIC fkin game. What a collab from many people, what a result. What a soundtrack. E P I C. no second best Gran Turismo.

I want to point out that everything in these games sat perfectly in combo imho, even the menu sounds are legendary.

Many others in my mind like Need For Speed Undergound 1&2, with EPIC collections of songs. Just epic.
And thats the crazy part, all those games, just dropped trax there, the music isnt designed for the game specifically. But i learnt so many new songs from those games that stay with me like, when i hear it i REMEMBER it along with the gameplay because the experience was so fkin EPIC. it stuck there like it sticks when you come across a new song that you like while simultaneously having a crush on a girl. that song sticks with you in respect of that timeline and you remember it as such until you fkin die probably. epic stuff

i was around 10 at the time so take all that and multiply it by 500 on character impact.

i hope i find in here people who played these games and agree with me!

Well, there is two that really outstanding works: AMON TOBIN (SPLINTER CELL CHAOS THEORY 2005) and MICK GORDON (DOOM 2016)

 

My neighbour was playing 'Lucretia My Reflection' by The Sisters Of Mercy whilst in his garden. I was playing Frogger in my bedroom.

 

I really like both Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided soundtracks and the games itself:

 

I loved this game and the soundtrack by Daniel Lanois.
