Can anyone explain to me precisely/exactly how to get this Talkbox effect using a normal voice file?

I would load the vocal file directly to an audio channel and then insert Izotope Vocal Synth 2 for the talkbox aspects, and whatever else. but it could have some tuner on it also. You'd need the clean vocal file to think in "exact" expectations, because "pretty damn close" is more likely your end result.

 

Play the file on your phone or a small bluetooth speaker that you hold next to your mouth, make waaawooowaea noises and record it.

Seriously, not a joke. That's basically what that effect was, except it used a horn driver to push sound through a tube into your mouth. Remember Walkman headphones? I jammed one of them in my mouth once and recorded it and the effect was fabulous.
