I came across this today, talk about double standards.

U.S. government hankers for hackers

 

So they are always fighting AGAINST hackers and now they WANT them???

This reminds me of a similar situation that happened to me in the 90s: I was the resident DJ at a macro club (4000 people capacity) and they were always stopping "cheap" people at the door because they ony wanted to get "high-class customers". One day, they told me that next month they wanted to hire a music show by one of the most famous singers at the time. I told them THAT singer was exactly the kind of music that "cheap" people liked!. And that people were mad at them because they had NEVER been able to come in. So bringing their music for ONE night would do nothing. They didn't hear me. They hired the show and they let ANYBODY come in that night. And guess what???. They had only about 50 people during the whole night... Obvious...!.

So now the NSA wants hackers? .

Same for army, police, even journalists......

Use of power to prevent abuse of power is not an abuse of power. Right?

Is it more moral to have the power to prevent abuse of power and yet not use it? I don't think so.
