To clarify how I perceived the title of this thread when I posted an early record of Elliot Smith...I'd rather have in my band Jimi Hendrix with a Squire Strat than my lawyer neighbor Paul with his Fender Custom Shop Limited-Edition Platinum Anniversary '50s Stratocaster Journeyman, or in a pickup game I'd 100% choose Michael Jordan in his prime in a pair of Chuck Taylor All Stars over some smack mouth pimp-wannabe mutherfurcher in a pair of Nike Mens Air Jordan 4 Retro Cactus Jack University in Blue/Black Suede.

Ya know what I mean? (Those are really pretty sneakers though!)
