Honestly tho, might wanna touch up your sound design skills first, otherwise you're asking for synths with weird presets.

 

Maybe Windows 7 provides better support than Windows 8, 10, 11, with regard to the possibly interesting software mentioned in the video:

 

Any synth with "special" synthesis OR multiple different synthesis engines (AND being modular).

For multiple engines : Zebra, Absynth ...

For "special" synthesis, i prefer Physical modelling synths : Reaktor ensembles (Steampipe, Prism ...)

Dune 3 can approach nearly physical modelling too (bells, plucks, flutes ... very reactive).

I advice Zebra for "do it all" :

This is really weird, and the orbit panel is awesome.

 

Reason comes with a lot of various synths. All sound pretty good, especially the newer ones. Complex-1 is great, especially for atypical sounds.

I've used this a few times to make strange sounds even though I have no idea how it works and it breaks from time to time. I just do stuff to it and out comes odd terrorized tones. You need to tame the high end or you will kill your tweeters, your dog will bite you on your weener and you'll most probably go prematurely deaf. It's 32 bit.
