I think most of us accept that there is precious little money to be made from selling music these days so I was wondering whether anyone has had success with sync opportunities. For those who don't know, synchronisation means getting your music played in adverts, TV programmes, films etc.

I joined a sync company called Sentric Music nearly 7 years ago and, apart from one TV play, I have got nowhere despite having around 90 tracks registered with them. I also joined Music Xray but they charge for every submission so I'm not sure if they are just a money spinner for themselves rather than actually getting music placed.

I am realistic enough to accept that maybe my music simply doesn't cut it so I was wondering whether others had fared better or could maybe suggest sync sites that would be worth exploring.
