Synapse Audio - Dune (1-3) ?

    Thanks to our brother host, I have accumulated a large amount of Dune 1-2-3 versions + related patch presets.
    My archive is too difficult to manage and I want to trim the excess 'fat' from all the files.

    2 questions:
    - are the preset-patches from Dune v1x & v2x up-compatible with Dune v3x?

    - Do I need to keep any of the v1-v2 installs ?
    -- only continue with v3

    I'm using only 3, the 2 patches are compatible with the 3. I think the 1 patches is different format entirely, I never use the 1 but downloaded some 1 patches but failed to get it work for the 3.

    Dune 1was a very different synth compared to the next two versions.

    like Absynth. no backward compatibility in 2? 1 is logic 9 era.

    You need to keep v1 as it is different.
    V3 is a true update of v2 and all the patches of v2 works perfectly in v3. You do not need v2.
    Keep v1 & v3.
