It was a Landforms by Slate+Ash, the full version has an install file with no reason to involve Kontakt Library Utility. I wanted to save some space, so I removed it in KLU, deleted the folder and Dl'd the minified version and reinstalled with KLU. The install seemed to work but its not showing up in the rack.

I have a feeling there's residual documentation hiding in folders from the full install that's preventing it from showing up. Any theories?

 

May depend on what version of Kontakt you're using VS what version it was minified with. Otherwise I don't see why deleting the original library folder didn't work.

Also, there was an old Kontakt adder tool (with pink buttons) that came with v6.5.0 which has been flawless on PC with current versions. If you can still find it, keep it around.

 

figured it out. was just unchecked box under the manage libraries tab, since I hid the original before deleting. the simplest answer is usually the correct one.
