Apple, as usual (they already done it from PowerPC to Intel cpu, removing 32bits support ...), push their new CPUs AND don't care about third party devs.
Apple fanboys come and say : devs need to follow ... and some simply don't.

That's the main reason why i totally left Apple computers. They push their agenda by changing their architecture, and don't care about ppl left behind.

Just test and buy the tools you actually use and need to make music, done.

Support the companies that care about their customers and the Apple ecosystem. There are plenty of good options available.

Even with just the stock plugins in Logic Pro, for example, which is affordable and offers free updates, it’s possible to create amazing music.

You can use it either by purchasing or trying it forever without resorting to dubious cracks that require disabling SIP.

Less hassle, fewer moving parts, and fewer dependencies

    K.I.S.

    by the way:

Apple Silicon chips, like the M1 and M2 series, are known for being incredibly efficient, running cool, and staying virtually silent. This stands in contrast to many traditional PCs, which often require louder fans to manage heat under heavy workloads. The energy efficiency and performance per watt of Apple Silicon really set it apart. Plus, for music production, this means quieter environments and fewer interruptions from fan noise.

Thank you for your good explanation
But as I said before, the things I need for Mac can be said to be completely crack or legal
As a result, I don't have any problems with plugins and VST in this operating system
You talked about coreaudio, well, I have to say that I don't have a sound card at home!
As a result, coreaudio mac will help me a lot
Of course, I don't know how this driver works in Cubase, they say it's great in Logic
I wanted to know that cracked cubase on Mac can replace my legal version of cubase ?
Because I need other Steinberg products

If cubis and coreaudio driver both work fine I will definitely go for Mac

Apple M AND new OSX versions are "restricting" scene releases.
So don't "count" on Apple M and any warez (especially Cubase).
It may work ... but you may have big headaches too.

Personally,i would not count on it ...
If it works, nice, it is a "bonus" :winker:

Read all comments on OSX Cubase sister site releases, and make your decision after.

You have to activate all cores in the Logic settings. ;-)

So you wanna install Hackintosh to run a DAW which also runs on a PC?
Makes absolutely no sense! The key to a better performance on a macOS is the Mac ARM architecture!
Get a Mac or keep your Windows-PC.

No, Logic uses only the performance cores on Apple Silicon, even if you enable all cores. Just google it or try for yourself.

Again just that usual fanboy bullshit. As I said, I really love my M1 Air as it's really efficient and portable. But all "high end" Macs are just a rip off charging totally overpriced RAM and SSD parts. My new AMD PC with a properly sized air cooler is nearly dead silent putting out 90 Diva instances, while the M2 Max MacBook Pro has to be manually set to full 6000 rpm fans to not to throttle.

It doesn't make sense for me to go from Cubase to Logic!
I work with Cubase every year and there is no limit for me!
According to my opinions and research, Logic is only with Apple's own processors without limitations and with good performance

    This is from Logic!
But about my Cubase and Hackintosh
I have a license for Cubase , however, according to research, there is no reason for me to use the cracked version.
The cracked version is good for people who don't want to pay
But I spent money, so as a result, I will skip using other Steinberg products (Dorico and Spectrallayer).
Mac with Intel works perfectly now
My Hackintosh has been used by me for years and I haven't had the slightest problem with it
By the way, Apple hit itself with a good new chip
It could go further with Intel
This change of Apple's chip made many people go to Windows systems
On the other hand, the crack is limited for Apple M systems and you have to pay to have a series of tools or maybe many tools.

A big part of this "always running cool AND fast" scam is due to (useless) SHORT benchmarks.
Run a 1 hour video rendering on Apple M and see how it is blowing full noise AND throttling :winker:
Same goes with anything heavy loaded.

Do an half hour stress test on Apple M and see by yourself.

    Some example :

Yea, that's why my Logic runs on at least six cores on my iMac M3!
    F*ck Google, bro!

Do you actually know how an ARM architecture works?
All components must be coordinated with each other. You can't just add a random SSD to it.

Feel free to use a knife to scrape off the RAM from the Mac-CPU!

Obviously you don't know much about it yourself. SSD memory is not part of the SoC itself, it's soldered to the board in MacBooks, and if it's soldered or not doesn't say anything about the price of the memory modules.

Additionally, the SSD in the Mac Studio isn't even soldered, it's an exchangeable module that looks just like an M.2 drive:

    https://everymac.com/systems/apple/...-upgrade-mac-studio-internal-ssd-storage.html

But it's a proprietary format, and Apple prevents any user interaction.

    You can buy a Samsung 990 Pro 4TB M.2 SSD with 6900 MB/s write and 7450 MB/s read speeds for 280,- Euros.

If you buy a Mac Studio with 4TB SSD instead of 1TB you have to pay 1150,- more, so you pay 1150,- Euros for the extra 3TB of flash modules, that's 1533,- Euros for 4 TB.

And that's 5.5 times the price of the Samsung drive.

Edit: And the price of the Samsung drive is an end-user price, the NAND modules itself are much cheaper.

The question is do you like to keep using Windows or prefer macOS.

1.) If you like to keep using Windows
    do it.

    2.) If you prefer macOS
Get a, mac or build a hackintosh, if you like to spend time maintaining, but saving money.

Besides that, with a Hackintosh, you can never be sure where an error originated.

It’s also difficult to communicate with developers if you’re using an illegal Hackintosh.
That might be fine if you don’t use any legitimate software and don’t care about getting issues fixed.

Some decades ago, I had an issue with my RME audio interfaces. RME asked for information, and I provided it. However, as soon as they realized I was using a Hackintosh, they immediately ended support.

This is just a common platitude of Mac haters I read every day.
Ever heard of external SSDs? Choose the lowest internal SSD configuration and connect an external SSD of your choice via thunderbolt and you are fine! So why bother about prices? Are you really that stubborn?

I prove you two times wrong about Logic and RAM, but you're pointing on things you think it's an argument. But it's just you making things like SSD complicated, when's it's very easy.

External SSDs may be fine in the studio or the office, but no, I don't want to carry one around when using my MacBook. I'm no Mac hater, I love using my Air every day. I'm just saying that Apple rips off people buying higher specced Macs.

The RAM on the SoC may be an argument, but prices for upgrades still are way off.

You don't need to prove anything, neither did you. You can't trust the Logic CPU meter and there are for sure some things running on the efficiency cores, but no audio processing. And that's been proven to be true in many reviews that show full usage of power cores and nearly no usage of efficiency cores inside Logic. Just one example:

The same problem exists also with some Windows software with intel 12th generation CPUs and later due to the problems running realtime audio threads on cores with different abilities and power.

You call me a stubborn Mac hater? That's what Apple fanboys call other people when someone criticises their holy Apple universe.

Edit: Let's stop being off-topic. The answer to the question is already given. Use any system you want, but as a Cubase-Windows user switching to Mac makes no sense money- and power-wise, because the hackintosh-route is either slow (old intel CPUs) or risky (patched kernal for AMD CPUs).
