I really like the percussion in this song at 1:27. Is that a specific type of percussion like Caxixi or some specific instrument ? Does anyone have drum sample packs with a similar sound ? I'm talking about the 16th notes, not the snare or kick.

Is this a specific technique like Round Robin ?

The whole beat sounds cool. Snare on 2 and 4 beat. Kick on 1, 2and, 3and.
I would also like to know if above rhythm in the previous sentence has a specific name like tresillio.

you could look for some "Vengence" samplepacks from 2016-17 to See if you can find some sounds that could cover your needs.

 

SHM is notorious for using Vengeance packs. So I think you should start there

 

Great, I will look at Vengeance packs for edm drum samples. I didn't know they used them ,thanks for the tip.

 

I was unable to locate the sound by looking through the vengeance drum sound packs. Can anyone help me out with this one.
