Surprisingly, Waves H-reverb at the top.

I was given a tip by a pro audio veteran engineer about this reverb and he has lots of high end rack reverbs. I know waves plugins pretty well, although i usually stay away from their channel strips and compressors.
I A/B-ed vs everything out there, even latest 7th heaven pro.
I processed a drum bus. For me, the most important thing is how fast i can access parameters, eqing reverb within the plugin, how well it gels with the source and depth.
You can tailor it to your needs easily, it has more options than most reverb plugins yet its intuitive so it can fit the source you are processing like a glow.
    This one really surprised me.
Reverberating drums can be a pita and H-Reverb sounds great, it respects the source and has plenty of depth.
To me it sounds like reverb on pro records, alive.

Been using the H Reverb (and sometimes the UVI Plate) for the past few years and I don't see any reason to try anything else.

For me the best Reverb is the Softube TSAR reverb, it has got that old school sound that i could not find anywhere else...
Also the reverb from Ugritone is nice, but a CPU hog.
