There are lots of emotions coming up for everybody, stirring up the pot and bringing tons of negativity to the surface. Everywhere we look things are being shaken up. Millions of people are on the road scared for what the future brings, leaving behind everything they know because of a terrible violence not of their personal doing, while still others are confronted with the blowback, the understandable fear of these strangers with memories of a harsh history thrown up in their faces almost overwhelming their innate open natures and sense if charity. There seems as if anything can happen at any time and the mass of humanity is as a whole is feeling rather fearful. All this of course is reflected in the microcosm of this forum, and maybe we as a group, as a whole can sharpen our focus and use the focal point on our shared love and passion for anything and everything music. Let us do what it takes to keep that in mind, our music and will to strive towards a common goal, to lifting each other up with generosity of our personal knowledge base, suggesting positive solutions to help make us each better musicians and producers. We found this place and fell in love this place, so let us keep this place, AudioSex the best that it can be, the best of the best of the best. Let's agree to let it just be about the music, only about the music. There are forums galore where anything under the sun is discussed, from cooking to conspiracies and probably even a forum dedicated to cooking conspiracies. Let's say we reserve this one for producing. Why don't we forgive each other for what we feel are past transgressions and start this very second, this very moment from scratch. We are now at Year Zero. No more more politics, no more kneejerk reactions of what might offend our sensibilities, lets lob off anything that robs our creative energy and builds walls between us, between any of us, which functionally means between all of us each as individuals. Let the the music itself be the expression to get things off of our chests. Transcribe your feelings into music. If you are fearful translate your fear into each note. Pissed off, happy, sad, whatever, each downbeat can be that outlet. That's what we do, we produce, so let's do our best, have the most amazing and fantastic AudioSex every single fucking second...holy shit, I think...I'm having an...AudioSex.....orgasmmmmmmmmmm. @Mykal and @One Reason were the reason I joined here 5 years ago. A lot has changed since then. I have learned a lot from certain members here akin to interning in a professional studio. (Thank you @spencer26!) I am eternally thankful for this site and scene, and can learn to forgive and forget. I went from a multi-threaded flame war to co-producing/mentoring with the same user. So come on guys, lets do it. I am a huge offender I know. Sarcasm never translates well in messages or texts and is almost always percieved as hate, unfortunately. I will make a conscious effort to bite my tongue (or fingers?) and paraphrase my responses more eloquently to not accidently offend anyone anymore.
I am here to share and help, and most of all LEARN!

It's something we all know deep down, but likewise, something we all might need reminding of sometimes. Thank you for being the voice of reason here SLS. I do not have a single enemy outside of the internet, and that is something I am very proud of. Perhaps I'll try harder in future to apply that same care and attention here too. After all, the one thing that we have in common, and which happens to be my 2nd favourite pastime, should be the thing that binds us. That is our love of all things audio.
