Anyone got an idea how to get the "tiss" sound used on cedric gervais remix of summertime sadness.

If your not sure which one, its the one when its just the vocal and hat.

 

Not sure about the song, never listened to it. But it sounds to me like your looking for a reversed cymbal. A recording of a cymbal that has been reversed. Like old school Ted Nugent on Stranglehold.

 

Hihat? bandpass/lowpass filter-sweeped white noise + reverb + SC compression/ducking?

It would be much easier if you linked the video and told at what Min:Sec mark the sound actually is. And you will get quicker and more answers.

 

are you referring to the sound before the first verse starts?

 

It's a white noise "downlifer" with a sidechain. So you put a bandpass filter starting on the high frequency and set an envelope with a low attack to sweep downward toward the low frequency of the noise. It should literally take a few seconds to make. There are other ways to achieve this as well. This would be something you'd do towards the end but you COULD add this to an arrangement whenever you want. It helps keep the transitions smooth.
