I downloaded and tried out this vsti, and none of the pads sound anything like the pads on the video demo. I was watching the video while testing the same pads, and all the controls on the gui were exactly the same. The pads on the video sound beautiful, big full and ethereal, but when I played them they sounded completely different. I tried all the pads and all were mediocre to terrible. It's not my system, because many other vsti's sound exactly like the audio demos. Are these people trying to pull some kind of a scam?

 

Did you add reverb and mastered it?

Jk. That was my first thought that came to mind.

Maybe it's about moving some knobs, for example adding big reberb/release and some attack as a start.

 

Ok, if you have this thing, load it into your daw host of choice and compare the first pad on the video, "fat planet" with the the same one loaded into your daw host. If your getting what I am, it sounds absolutely nothing like the video. Note that the person in the video is playing the pad straight out of the box. In other words adding nothing.

 

I noticed the same like you did!!
The sounds sound much more different than the lush PADS in the clip.
I wrote it into the comments @ AudioZ. Maybe they're intentionally faking?

If the sound doesn't sound right in your mix from the youtube video, try EQ spectrum cloning with Ozone or other similar plugins. This will allow you to get a EQ profile of their sound and your sound profile will be alter to match StudioLinkedvst quality.

 

In conclusion, if the pads in this thing sounded like they do in the video I'd be sending them the 50 bucks today. Unfortunately, this has been promptly deleted from my hard drive, and I won't bother with this company again. It's frustrating and disheartening when companies pull this shit. I also noticed that the download has been pulled from Audioz, hmmm.

 

Its exactly the same pads. Video is Direct audio from Plugin recorded in Screenflow. Only thing that can be different is actual keyboard playing. For example how you move around the keyboard. I am a decent keyboardist. In the video i played alot of progressions containing Major/Minor 7ths, 9ths and Tritones. We Have a Midi pack coming out with exact midi used from SOUL Trilogy and Universe Pads demonstrations. That will be named Advanced SOUL Chords. Adjust the release from Universe Pads, Add compression and delay from your DAW. Will create exactly what i did in the video. email us if you need any other help. Thanks

 

I admit I'm a shitty keyboard player. My instrument is guitar. I'll give this another try with some of the chords you mentioned and see if I can match the sounds from the video. If so, apologies, and you've got a sale, because I really love the pad sounds in the video. They are exactly what I've been looking for. I assumed from the video that I could press one, two or three keys and match the video sounds. Apparently I was wrong.

 

StudioLinkedVST Universe Pads
Hello, I checked all preset sounds again, also playing chords and i must say that the most of them sound too similar.
The Synthesizer is not too bad but if you want more lush & ethereal sounds you should better go for NI Absynth,
Camel Audio Alchemy or even Tone2 ElectraX or Electra2. Those have tons of more presets and allow construction
of complex PAD sounds, furthermore most sound very convincing at first play!

That KONTAKT library has a lot of stunning PAD-sounds!

I also purchased the same VST and was disappointed to hear a big difference in sounds and quality. I use both Windows 10 PC and Apple Mac pro. I totally agree with panther5 that their advertisement is misleading and it dose seem like a scam.

Thats because the company that makes Universal Pads, StudiolinkedVST is trash. All their plugins sound paper thin...u want quality pads? Omnisphere is what you want.
