I really wish Presonus would open up it's javascript API to the public.
I know that Waveform DAW also has the ability to create javascripts in it, they opened up their API to the public.

 

I think the problem here is this API is supposed to be only for commercial developers. Presonus don't want it to be publicly available. In other words, they only offer the macros to the users.

You're so right. It's a totally different case than with Reaper or Waveform, which encourage regular users to use it. BTW, so many cool features in Waveform, I wish I had the time to test it half decently. The modular plugin rack, MIDI creative tools, macros plus scripting,...

They go even beyond than Reaper, recently Tracktion released their DAW engine source code. I suppose it's not the latest, but man, a full-fledged DAW engine released as open source. Though this is more for hard core C++ programmers it's still amazing.

Using SHIFTWINDOW software i just now got the Complete Full Screen.. we need to edit the < X\Y , width and height too> it took 15 mins for me to find my screen size n all.. and just done and saved the setting ...while turning on studio one with in few seconds u can make the Studio One window to full screen

Nice-one on finding a work around for fullscreen mode.
The old fullscreen files added into the update where messing up export of wav ,mp3 ect what made them unusable,
that just meens the ccltext.dll needs to be replaced now with the one from v4.1.3 for studio one x to sort of work again
its still missing alot but like you said its better than nothing

 

i done these with my limited knowledge and dropped here ,,, So at least this can help few among our Az family who really wish to get those

Thanks, it's very interesting this tool.
A bit OT now, but the next thing I'm going to learn is AutoHotKey. It's a scripting language initially designed for hotkeys but can pretty much automate almost everything in Windows. For example, that trick to emulate fullscreen.

Would also help for external audio apps, say a virtual MIDI keyboard you want to use with all the DAWs. The key features here are resize/move, give-take focus, minimize... you can even call Win32 API functions, random example: MIDI (winmm library) ... ;-) . Of course, all this after the incredibly powerful Window/application identification capabilities: file name, main bar title, there are even OCR plugins. In theory you could automate those nice R2R keygens...

The language itself sucks very badly (like a mix of BASICs) but man, features and productivity wise is worth it...

why is it seemingly so hard that they could code the program to maxmize the window and change the size of plugin editor windows - at the moment there is a good portion of their height that is just dead, wasted space.
it's really annoying when vst don't fit which is the case for a good wedge of the plugins...
seriously...

 

I resort to hammer therapy on occasion. If it doesn't work on the equipment you can use it on you own head in frustration.

 

A bit OT (like usual with me lol) but since Win95 I can't understand why most poeple doesn't set the auto-hide option on in the taskbar.
Nowadays if you have a large display 2K and stuff there's no need, but otherwise...

 

Guys finally with the help of Autohotkey script , i found a way to make Studio one Full screen in matter of seconds..
special thanks to @Xupito .. He is the one who introduced about Autohotkey to me..

Full Screen script i got from presonus discussion forum ! and i modified and added one more shortcut key <Alt + Enter > Same as in Studio One x

#one script is to make the studio one full screen and other one is to activate the perticular script <automate>on start up <Computer Turn ON> so only we need to trigger the key [Ex : Alt+ ENTER key or Alt+F11] to switch Full screen ...
<Tested on Studio one 4.6 nd working charm>

Step #2 Right Click mouse / New / AutoHotKey Script
Step #3 Rename the Script to Studio One Full Screen <Studio One Full Screen.ahk>
Step #4 Right Click <mouse> and Edit Script
Step #5 Paste the Script and save it...
Step #6 Run the Script


It's Done

Shortcut keys Are :
Alt+F11
&
Alt+Enter <This key command is only which i added to this AHK Script as like in Studio one X>
