One of the features I miss from Ableton was the ability to send FX back on themselves for a more pleasing and authentic dub experience. You had to right-click to enable this function.

I've tried replacing FX channels with Buses, but just can't work out how to achieve that fed-back delay. I know you can send a delay to a reverb but can't seem to send a delay back into itself. Obviously I'd map a controller for feedback and use a limiter.

Hope this makes sense and if anyone can offer a workaround, I'll buy 'em a drink. TIA

Why not just put a second instance of the delay plugin after the first, with identical settings?

Thanks. I've tried that and unless I need to tweak some settings it didn't really give the vibe I wanted. On approx 3:28, this vid explains pretty much what I want to do.

Have you tried exactly this delay, Waves H-Delay? Feedback values above 100 can produce this kind of effect.

Yep, my favourite Waves plug-in, tbh. A beautiful delay, but one I couldn't justify having the whole Waves package for, so, haven't used for a few years.. There is something, that feeding the effect back in on itself does something beyond a normal delay can do. It's a requested feature in the Presonus forums and I understand them not wanting to hurt the ears or speakers of the uninitiated.

Check out Blue Cat's Connector plugin, fantastic bit of software and should acheive exactly what you're aiming to to

Thanks for all your help, guys! I know the ability to feed sends back on themselves is a requested feature in Studio One and a few mentioned Blue Cat's Connector as a workaround. Hopefully I can get my head around routings (not my forte, but a breeze in this case in Ableton) and achieve that dub effect rather than blow my speakers/damage my ears ;)
