I switched from Live 8 to Studio One and never regret.

Since PDC works in S1 I have much better transients on my drums and overall clearer sound,
because S1 handles vst-plugins better then Live does. ( I tested this)

All stable and less CPU too !!!

I just miss the instrument rack from Live, but I wait for Bitwig.

Still trying to get into S1, I'm hoping I can cause I've heard good things about it. I would like to try something new for a change when I'm making music. As for mixing.........I'm all about the Protools :phones:

BoombBezel, use Asio4all new version, you can make an aggregrate audio device that uses all your devices at same time.

Still has a little way. I hear the "fast workflow" theme, but I don't get that.

Is there a way that I can delete both tracks from the arrange window and the mix window simultaneously? It's slow and annoying as Hell to my workflow having to do that all the time.

And when I create an Instr. track in the mix window, it doesn't automatically create one in the arrange. Those things aren't conducive to my workflow. Maybe there's a way to fix that. If there is, please let me know.

Sorry took so long to reply. Your right, that is old version. But it was new to me!

But you can make an aggregrate device with that beta version.

Didn't mean to be misleading, just meant newest version available.

    Tater one,

Thank for your answer. (Don't apology we all have our planing)

I hope that someone will develop a driver where you can use more than one digital souce at the same time
for example 2 DAWs or Media monkey together with your DAW.

    Have a nice day.

If you delete an instrument track in the arrange view, choose "remove track and instrument" - then it removes the track in the mixer as well.

Don't create it in the mix window.
If you create an instrument track in the arrange view (i.e. by just dragging and dropping an instrument from the browser), it will create a track in the mixer as well.

    Hope that helps.
