Studio One not recognising MIDI devices all of a sudden

    I updated to 3.5 when it was released a few days back. I have a couple of hardware MIDI devices attached, being a Faderport, Behringer BCR2000 and a Nektar Impact LX61+.

    As of just now, whenevr I start up Studio One I get the"failed to connect device" and red cross error next to the devices error on the startup scan meaning I cannot use any of my MIDI devices within Studio One at present.

    Weirdly, going into External Devices within the option, they are all listed as per normal and none with the yellow warning triangle. Even weirder s that the Faderport still seem to work besides the startup scan error but non of the others do. And weirder still, disconnecting and reconnecting the USB devices to/from the PC and uninstalling and reinstalling Studio One seems to make no difference.

    Anybody else experienced something like this or got any ideas? Really trying to give this DAW a genuine shot but it is not making it easy for me!!!!

    Yes it is common to the update. Go to options\ external devices. Next highlight and then remove each device. Now add the devices back.

    Had to rate as funny, since it happened to me as well. Remove and re-add like Daklaron said :yes:

    Yup 2 sec fix Midi options remove and re-connect then Whoola Slam on that Ez-Drummer App :wink:
