Not bad at all for a .x update.

Have they fixed the issue where some sounds randomly stop playing until you pause and hit play again?

That's the only thing remaining to fix, otherwise this is the perfect DAW for me.

It's gonna be crazy update. Knowing Presonus, their x.5 updates are as big as x.0s

 

The peak read out metering at the mixer channels is annoying (hovering over the mouse). But the most irritating is the mute on a midi track doesn't necessarily means a mute in the corresponding mixer channel due to the rack format of the vst instruments!
Lets hope the first one to be resolved with a future update. The other one I don't know...

What about randomly played audio (cache problem)

 

If they add Third Party NoteFX, better integration with apps like Scaler and Instachord/Scale, and 5.1 Surround for film, I would never leave this DAW.

I guess if I had to get picky, some way to better organize ideas and parts, like Ableton Clips, other than Scratch Pads. I might be out in left field with this, but I'd literally never open another DAW if I could cleanly organize my ideas in a non linear way.

 

Still cant chain VST plugins like in other DAWs... like MidiChords > ARP xyz > any VSTi xyz
Only possible with Elements or other chainer´s... or by 2 separate Tracks linked....
Presonus and this Ari Developer are adding so much crap i never need...
Some EDM love for S1 wouldn't hurt honestly. Ableton, Bigwick are good examples.
i cant change again after going from cubase to S1...

I can not seem to find where to download this. It says it's free to Studio One users. Could someone explain (or hint at) all the ways to get this update?

the mac version of 5.3 was posted earlier yesterday on the ss. i downloaded it, went back to the post a few hours later, and it was gone. anybody know what happened?

 

It was not an official release from r2r so it was removed

The strange thing is, we have never had a cracked version for MacOS for yonks - I think since 4.6. Now, all of a sudden, we have a cracked MacOS, but nothing yet for Windows. WTF is going on?
