I don’t think its a question of why you would need 32 bit bridging, its more of a question of why not have it there? Lots of functions in studio one you probably wont use but nice to have it there you know? Customers are putting out a good amount of money to buy studio one and 32 bit bridging seems like somewhat of a basic feature to have, especially if they end up using something like jbridge, etc.

Nobody would have grumbled so much for having 32 bit bridging... if Presonus had not stopped developing S1 in 32 bits...
So by deciding to stop 32 bit version, the least they can do is to implement 32 bit bridging.

 At least someone knows how to say thank you.

Try this: Open Omnisphere>Go to System>Miscellaneous>Turn off Switch to layer after activation.

Still no heal splits, and split stereo track to mono from the arranger view, and stretch files by dragging both from right (as it is now) and left :(
If they integrated that I would buy it immediately... But I'll test it

Thanks, The Pirate! Sorry for a further question, but can I leave this on my system without causing any problems?

Except for you right? If you're not buying it because of 32 bit plug ins..You will never buy it, so dont. I rest my case

Somewhat Basic? Are you their development team?. do you know how software development works? Its prioritised between functionality to market and bug fixes. What sells a product like a DAW? It isn't the regressive wants of winging amateurs, its responding to Professional heavy hitters who act evangelically so you can follow us like sheep when we tell you how we made this dope joint...

I'll go further, if you use 32 bit plug ins, you deserve J bridge and all the extraneous bullshit that goes with it.

Mate.. get a life, we all moved on. 32 bit is over... I have an 8 bit sampler gathering dust, an S3200 and a 12bit W30, I keep them nostalgically, but they are not in my workflow because there are better options, I've moved on..

Damn sounds like you took it personal lol I dont even use 32 bit plugins but im basically playing devils advocate for those who do use it. I own studio one artist because i have presonus 192 and bought the add ons to have more functionality since i use fl studio as my main daw, dont really need the pro. Not really sure are you assuming i dont own it? Honestly dont even wanna argue with you, you seem hostile

The most interesting feature for me is the less cpu consumption announced.

Users of this v4.5 agree,it's actually significant?

This is just a first version of xx.5. As everybody knows, it is an experimental version. Wait until Presonus announces the fixed version.

Guys, does anybody have an idea on how to setup a Macro or something to imitate "heal splits" function ?

Like for example I do strip silence on bunch of events, and than there are like 20 small parts needed to be "healed" because strip silence chopped what it shouldn't, could there be some macro to make the healing parts faster, instead of going one by one problematic area, erasing one portion to extend the other ?

    I hope I was understandable

Highlight the "20" events and then bounce audio.

Of course, you can bounce, but what if "strip silence" caught what it shouldn't and you end up with a phrase with bad cut inside ? That's why I need heal function.

I considered buying Cubase 10, then I saw they changed glue tool behavior from version 5.5, and basically no more heal in Cubase as well :(

I don't know if I understand you correctly, but if you press "G" key,to glue some selected events, doesn't it work?

Or "Ctrl B" to consolidate audio.

They finally fixed so you have an option to smooth waveforms, so no more blocky waveforms, very cool.
Also it seems they fixed so you can save I/O configurations, this was really really annoying if you switched between interfaces having to setup all over again.

Haven't tried it though, but I'd say its a VERY nice update.

Oh and having input gain knobs and phase on every channel (like cubase) instead of having a to use a plugin on every track to do something as basic as gain staging.
