Sometimes it might feel a bit too much brighter in dark enviroments and it would be great to have a brightness control feature at least. Not that you can't fix it with some monitor tweaking, but a native option would be great. Also the zoomed waveformes looks 8bit-ish. :(
Reaper, Cubase & LP9 or LPX have anti-aliased waveforms, even Bitwig, Ableton or Sonar have better looking zoomed waveforms. Graphical Improvement-wise, i think they can change a few stuff here and there.

Wouldn't it be cool if studio one has the capability of having users make their own themes? A bit like Reaper...?

Making it skinnable would be nice.

Add full-screen option (which now you can only do with a 3rd party plug-in)...

    Sort the naming issues...

    Add native bridge...

Add separate temp folder for auto-saves from un-saved projects

    Delete traces of unsaved projects

Add option to delete the actual recorded audio when deleting a recorded file (a failed 'take', for example) from the track

Add option to rename recorded file to that of the corresponding track

Option to delete bounced audio when un-freezing

    ...

I think most of those points were already requested on their official forum, so i think that yea, most of this stuff will be improved.

Oh and, of course, ditch friggin' Quicktime and allow the option to add another player (like MPC or VLC). Or, at least, add the option...

I don't know, but i guess those format support will rise their costs as well. :dunno:
Btw, how many video file formats does Cubase and Sonar supports?

    Here's how REAPER does it:

It plays everything I throw at it. Extremely efficient and customisable.

    That's great! :mates:

But i'd rather care more about "musical" and audio features rather than video. Yes, it would represent a big improvement on the video side, but let's make sure
they improve it on the audio side firts. :(

Well, yeah, it depends on whether you do video work or not. Anyhow, that's a major turn-off in S1 for me. It's a shame really. It could be so much better in that department.

Yeah, right, but hey, let's don't forget it was mainly developed for music production / mixing & mastering. Most of their customers must buy it for the musical needs they have. For post-production and video-work, most of them will stick to Nuendo, ProTools or any other "professional" need.

Well it supports VST3 and a workflow that doesn't involve looking through a million menus so yeah. Personally I can't wait, I hope they do something about that godawful GUI because it's so uninspiring. I wish they could incorporate the FL Studio MIDI editor as well and a better mixer. That would be great. :grooves:
